We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic EFL teacher to join our team from September 2024 to June 2025. Applicants must have English at first language level, a university degree and appropriate TEFL qualification. Minimum two years teaching experience of different ages and levels, especially young learners and teens is essential. Candidates should also be familiar with Cambridge PET, FCE and CAE exams.
The position involves mainly teaching general English to children and young learners (5 -18 years) and Cambridge exam preparation. We also have one-to-one adult students learning general and business English. The teaching will essentially be classroom based, however experience in online teaching and some knowledge of Spanish would also be an advantage, though not neccessary.
We have contracts available for 25 teaching hours per week, or part-time contracts (hours negotiable). Classes are from Monday to Thursday, and some Fridays, mainly in the afternoons (4pm-9pm) with occasional morning classes. Holidays are paid at Christmas and Easter. Full, in-house training is provided before the start of the contract and on-going training sessions are held throughout the academic year.

What does this mean?
Strict visa regulations in particular countries can mean teachers must hold a passport from certain countries. Unfortunately, this restricts who schools can hire and may make you ineligible if you apply for the position. This information is indicative and you can still apply for the position but we recommend that you look into whether you can obtain a visa for the position first.
Don’t give up! There are job opportunities in other teaching destinations overseas.
