Job description

m2r Education are looking for qualified Primary Teachers to teach English as a second language, you must have experience teaching ESL at primary level. This is an exciting government project in Brunei!  Aug 2020 / Jan 2021 start dates.

You will teach in local government schools and experience a tax free, tropical lifestyle in an extremely relaxed and safe country.

This role is open to those who meet the following criteria and can join in Aug 2020 / Jan 2021. Contract is for 2yrs.

Package and Benefits:

  • A tax free salary of minimum BND 42,000 (c. £25,500) up to BND 66,000 (c. £40,000) for 15yrs experience

Job requirements

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Degree, PGCE or equivalent
  • 3 years post qualification experience (if you have a related degree) or considerably more if unrelated
  • At least 1 year’s experience teaching EFL/ESL at primary level
  • CELTA/TESOL qual preferred but not essential
  • Current drivers licence

Due to local restrictions, applications can only be accepted from teachers under the age of 53 (at time of entry to Brunei) and those who are native speakers of English from the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia or New Zealand with western qualfications and experience.
