Speak English Tana is an ESL school in the capital of Madagascar for sale/new management due to moving away of owner for a new position.  The school has two main types of clients: individuals and corporate. The new owner/s will take over the school and manage the marketing, recruitment, course management and finances of the school. They would ideally also teach some classes. 

School pros:

Central location: Located in Capital city 130 meters from the main university on the main road to the university

Served by 6 bus routes

Started in 2013

Established reputation with major clients such as GIZ, CRS.

School attracts top teachers to come and work there.

Profitable:

• In 2019 the school generated 60,000 USD in revenue and of that 7,600 was profit.  If teaching as well as managing then you are looking at 7,600 + 9,400 from teaching for a total of 16,000 USD per year.
• During COVID the school took on some debt (rent and taxes of about 5,000 USD)
• Oct 2022 to Oct 2023 the school generated 27,000 USD in revenue from corporate clients and 20,000 USD from individual students, for a total of 47,000 USD.
  
  These are under conditions of having 3 teachers, one receptionist and one maid.

You are asked to take over all aspects of school management:

• Marketing: Develop and market classes using a variety of strategies, maintain online presence.
• Recruitment: Recruit teachers, evaluate teachers etc.
• Management:  Manage team of teachers and staff.
• Teaching: Take on 18-26 hours of teaching per week.
• French is useful but not essential.
